On Saturday 24th November, four of our apprentices along with a couple of ercol employees gave up their Saturday to help a local school refresh their Sixth Form Common Room. Four sixth formers also joined in to help the team.

Two groups made up of both ercol and the school were decided upon, with an apprentice at the helm of each. The furniture had been donated by our chairman, Edward Tadros, and the new colour scheme and design had been drawn up by one of our designers, Harriet Speed.

Both teams worked extremely hard to get the room prepared, painted and the furniture unpacked and into position in one day.

The furniture and specially designed coasters start to go into place.

The plaque made by ercol went on the wall at the official opening on Wednesday 28th November.
