Mattresses

Our range of mattresses is the result of a collaboration between two heritage brands, ercol and Harrison Spinks, a fifth-generation family business that’s been making luxury mattresses in Yorkshire since 1840. Our two companies have much in common: we’re both well-established family firms, and share many core values including combining modern manufacturing techniques with traditional skills, and making use of wonderful natural materials in our products.

The four mattresses in our new range are all sewn, side-stitched and tufted entirely by hand, using the finest sustainable materials to support healthy sleep, handcrafted in Yorkshire. The hemp and flax used in the mattresses is grown on the Harrison Spinks family farm: the wool is produced in Britain, fully traceable and ethically sourced. At the end of their long lives, all our mattresses are 100% recyclable and zero to landfill.
