Apprenticeship Vacancies

Ercol Furniture is a family-owned furniture manufacturing company based in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire.

We are looking to recruit apprentices within our Machining, Assembly & Finishing departments.

Machining

This apprenticeship will cover CNC and traditional wood machining, using a range of woodworking machines to produce components for Assembly. Our training partner for this in-house apprenticeship is The Engineering Training Trust. On successful completion of this apprenticeship, the students will be fully competent in manufacturing wooden components.

Assembly

This apprenticeship will cover Furniture Making, working within the Assembly area using a range of techniques to produce components ready for Finishing in partnership with Rycotewood College in Oxford. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, the students will be fully competent in furniture assembly.

Finishing

This apprenticeship will cover Furniture Finishing, working within the 
Finishing area, using a range of techniques to produce finished products ready for delivery to the customer. We are seeking to arrange training through Activate Learning as the course provider. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, the student will be fully competent in furniture finishing.
 

 

How to Apply

 

Applicants should be competent in English & Maths, with a minimum level of grade C or equivalent at GCSE level.  There are no age restrictions on these places.
